Terms and conditions

These terms govern participation in the tours organised by Etna Explorer (Daniele Emmi, VAT 06179350878), departing from Piano Provenzana, Etna North.

Bookings are made via WhatsApp and are confirmed upon the guide's confirmation message. Payment happens on the morning of the tour, by card or cash, unless otherwise agreed.

The guide reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel the tour if weather conditions or changes in volcanic activity endanger participants' safety. If cancelled, the participant may choose between a full refund and a new date.

The participant declares to have the fitness level indicated on the tour page and the mandatory gear required (hiking boots, jacket, water, food; headlamp where required).

Participation is not permitted for people with cardiac or respiratory conditions, nor during pregnancy beyond two months. Participants must inform the guide of any relevant condition before departure.

During the tour the participant must follow the volcanological guide's instructions, stay on the indicated route and use the required gear. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the tour without refund, to protect the group's safety.

Participant cancellation terms: being finalised with the organiser — until then, please contact the guide on WhatsApp as soon as possible if you cannot attend.

These terms are governed by Italian law. Where required by consumer law, the consumer's court has jurisdiction.
